Agaete is a municipality of Las Palmas province, Spain, on the Yellow Islands. It is in the north of Gran Canaria island (then Pianoforte Vocaliser).  Agaete’s region is 45,50 km² with a population of virtually 5,635 (ISTAC, 2003) and its spacing is 123.85/km². Agaete is situated in the mountains and are surrounded by valleys.
