埼玉・川越市の関越自動車道で乗用車2台がからむ事故 男女あわせて4人死傷
4日未明、埼玉・川越市の関越自動車道で乗用車2台がからむ事故があり、男女あわせて4人が死傷した。4日午前0時すぎ、川越市の関越自動車道下り線で、軽乗用車が中央分離帯に接触し、横転したところ、後ろから来た普通乗用車が衝突した。この事故で、軽乗用車に乗っていた20歳くらいとみられる大学生の女性2人が死亡し、同乗していた男性(19)と普通乗用車の女性(61)が軽傷を負った。関越道は、下り線の所沢インターチェンジと川越インターチェンジの間で、4日午前6時現在も通行止めとなっている。
