Big strikeout for New Milford’s Damien Logue
New Milford held an 8-3 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning of Thursday’s Connie Mack game against Torrington Sports Palace at Fuessenich Park, but Torrington was threatening. Sports Palace had runners on second and third with two outs and Cody Lemieux up at the plate, but reliever Damien Logue got Lemieux with a called third strike to end the inning. New Milford won the game 8-5.
