St Bernhard "Brutus" in Dog Wheelchair
Brutus, a Saint Bernard, had surgery for a cervical disc problem that was treated surgically. We anticipate that he will fully recover, but at over 125 lbs, a dog wheelchair has given him renewed mobility while he regains control and strength especially in his hind limbs. Interestingly, this is the first time we’ve personally seen a dog lift his leg in a dog wheelchair. However, most dogs are able to urinate and defecate in a dog cart.
