Extended highlights of Cyprien Gaillard’s performance at Tate Modern.03.07.2009 Rival gangs battle on a housing estate, a tower block is illuminated by a light show before being razed to the ground, and a housing estate in a Ukranian suburb stands desolate and empty - these are all part of Cyprien Gaillard's 'electronic opera', 'Desniansky Raion', scored by French composer Koudlam. This extended version also includes extracts from 'Lake Arches' and 'Dune Park', and Gaillard discussing his work's relationship to American land artist Robert Smithson.
