硫黄島へ初の民間チャーター機 遺族の慰霊巡拝でＪＡＬ
太平洋戦争時に小笠原諸島・硫黄島で戦死した旧日本兵の遺族による慰霊巡拝（国主催）が同島であり、遺族が６日午前、日本航空の羽田発チャーター便で同島に降り立った。国内の航空会社が同島へチャーター便を運航したのは初めて。遺族は島内の慰霊碑を巡った後、合同追悼式に臨んだ。
