Charity in the City of Angels
Artists in Los Angeles are often involved in charitable organizations around the city, and we’re highlighting two of them: Silverlake Conservatory of Music, started by Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, offers music education to kids and adults, and Artists for Peace and Justice, founded by filmmaker Paul Haggis, has offered aid to Haiti since early 2009.
