Dilma Rousseff nominated by president for Brazil
Bernardo Wjuniski, analyst, Tendencias Consulting says the voter isn’t necessarily looking at Dilma's personality or at her characteristics. But he sees in her the success of the current government. She was part of the current government. She has been nominated by the president who brought in the current gains. So she is seen as more of the same. There are some fears a president Dilma might swing harder left, and increase state control over the economy, or that Brazil's economy might cool down. But so far, there's no sign of Brazil changing course. It's full steam ahead.
