墨西哥有兩列載貨火車相撞，至少13人死亡，大部份是非法入境者。 事發在錫那羅亞州，新華社引述當地官員指，事故是人為因素造成，事發時一列火車正停車進行補給，但司機沒有通知鐵路信息中心，導致另一列開往美國的載貨火車，在同一軌道相撞。 每年有近千名中美洲及墨西哥非法入境者，藏匿於開往美國的貨運列車，企圖偷渡到美國。
