Intervention: Season 1: "Howard and Audrey"
Substance addiction is a problem that afflicts millions of Americans — rich and poor, young and old -- and one that takes many forms, as illustrated by the frank, unsettling portraits of individuals trying to break free of their destructive habits. The subjects filmed for the show are initially told that they’re being filmed for a documentary. But the actual agenda is an intervention involving friends, relatives and counselors.
