Women in many parts of the world struggle to simultaneously manage family and jobs. It helps when men and women share housework and child-care.In 2007 Paraguay’s government committed itself to helping to keep women in the workplace. Since then, public sector workers have been given more access to day care for their children, and more and more men have begun to care for their children - something that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.
