UK generators replacement to cost £200bn
Updating the UK’s electricity generating plants will cost £200bn, according to energy secretary Chris Huhne. At the same time the Lib-Con coalition aims to reform the energy industry to tackle climate change and energy security needs, at the lowest possible cost. Mr Huhne explains to Elizabeth Rigby, chief political correspondent, how he hopes to achieve this.
