唐英年讚揚民主黨區議會改良方案前瞻有勇氣
政務司司長唐英年讚揚民主黨提出的區議會改良方案，有前瞻性及勇氣。他說，有些黨派不走向極端是好事，政治上求同存異，能夠向前行一步，總好過原地踏步。 他又表示，若果政改方案獲得通過，政府會積極考慮取消區議會委任制。 唐英年在一個電台節目表示，若果公民黨黨魁余若薇認為政府提出的政改方案不夠完美，而選擇否決方案，是很錯的想法。他希望大家有存異的精神，通過政改方案，為普選鋪路。
