Charles Johnson, Novelist
Charles Johnson is one of America’s leading writers. The recipient the 1990 National Book Award for his novel "Middle Passage," he is also the author of "Ox-Herding Tale," "The Sorcerers Apprentice," and the critical study, "Being And Race: Black Writing Since 1970." He is a screenwriter, book reviewer and fiction editor for The Seattle Review.
