This video provides a tour of the different exhibits, buildings and student work on Stanford University Libraries' island in the virtual world Second Life. Stanford University students, faculty and staff as well as the casual Second Life passersby can learn about the various exhibits and resources available via Second Life. These include exhibitions from Stanford University Libraries' Special Collections based on real life exhibits in the Cecil H. Green Library. There is also a Student Galleria where Stanford students can exhibit their work; a digital portfolio. Stanford University Libraries' Virtual Archive with working Hollinger boxes is also showcased.
