Episode Eight
It’s the second to last show in the first series, and tonight Gordon joins Martine McCutcheon in her kitchen to help her prepare the perfect roast beef and Yorkshire pudding to impress her friends; while Janet Street Porter is in the restaurant kitchen attempting to beat Gordon with her favourite fig pudding. Meanwhile, Christmas is coming and so is the end to the turkey's short but happy time in Gordon's garden. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall pops round to give advice on the best way to slaughter the turkeys. Will Gordon be able to handle it and how will his kids say goodbye to Ainsley, Gary, Antony, Jamie, Nigella and Delia - the turkeys they've become so attached to?
