에덴 프로젝트
에덴 프로젝트 Eden Project 에덴 프로젝트는 잉글랜드 콘월(Cornwall)주에 위치한 식물원으로 2001년 개장했다. 열대다습ㆍ온대 식물군집 돔과 야외 정원으로 구성된 식물원의 총 부지면적은 50만㎡로 서울상암월드컵경기장의 2.5배로 5천 종의 식물이 서식하며(2007년 기준) 2010년까지 2만 4천여 개 식물 종의 씨앗을 수집할 계획에 있다. 유리로 보이는 바이오돔은 ETFE를 이중으로 설치한 시설이다. 유리 무게의 1/100로 가벼우면서 월등한 보온효과를 가진 첨단 플라스틱이다.
