Yuki and Hotsuma finally reach Shusei, but they are too late--Ashley has already taken his life. Hotsuma is heartbroken when Ashley reveals Shusei wished for his own death but finds courage in Yuki’s words. Believing his bond with Shusei to be unbroken, Hotsuma calls Shusei's name with God's Voice.
