NS IN REGATTA CRASH/ RI
A second crash has been reported between two hydroplanes. No injuries are reported at this time.   WDRB has a crew at the scene and will continue to update this story when more information becomes available. LOUISVILLE, KY (WDRB) — WDRB has received reports of a wreck at the Madison Regatta. Dispatch confirmed a boat in the race struck a rescue boat after it missed a buoy. Divers are in the water searching for victims. Four people pulled from the water were taken to the hospital. Some of the injured were airlifted. The driver of the hydroplane, Brian Perkins, has non-life threatening injuries. He is the driver of the U-21 Miss Lakeridge Paving. This weekend is the 61st annual Lucas Oil Madison Regatta held in Jefferson County, Indiana. The race features hydroplanes vying for the Indiana Governor’s Cup. WDRB has a crew at the scene and will update this story when more information becomes available.##
