Gadget TV - PLX Kiwi WiFi - the inexpensive car diagnostic computer video review
If you’re a gear head, a lead foot, an amateur mechanic, a data freak or just someone looking for info on how to reset an engine warning light without taking the car to the mechanic, the PLX Kiwi WiFi deserves a look. This $150 device lets you plug into the OBD-II port on your car (assuming it is a 1996 or later model year car). It is a WiFi AP device; connect your iPhone to the PLX's WiFi network, fire up a compatible app and next thing you know, you'll see all of the data that's available. Data like torque, fuel pressure, timing and the more mundane options like RPMs, speed and fuel level.
