Two House Financial Services subcommittees held a joint hearing on mortgage servicing and foreclosure mitigation practices. They also questioned witnesses about the involvement of Elizabeth Warren, the Assistant to the President and Special Treasury Adviser on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), in these settlement talks.
