Grand Theft Auto IV For the PC
One of this last year’s most commercially successful games was Grand Theft Auto 4 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. To give you an idea, in its first day the game sold 3.6 million units and by the end of its first week had already grossed over 500 million dollars. Which means it did what Titanic and The Dark Knight did, but only in ONE week. Cha-ching. So like other Grand Theft Auto games in the past, GTA4 is making its way from the consoles and into a PC version come this November. Rockstar, the game's developer, promises sharper graphics, a more in-depth multiplayer experience, and also a replay and montage editor. Similar to what Halo 3 did with the Forge, GTA4 on the PC will always be recording the action when you're playing the game. So when you fly a helicopter into a building filled with mobsters, but jump out right before hand so you can land in a pool, then hijack a car and go on your daily killing spree, just hit a key and the game will pull up all that action, giving you the ability to edit and cut up the footage, creating your own mini movies. I can already imagine the feel good sepia tones layered over your wonderfully death filled montage. Well, the sky's the limit. As for multiplayer additions, Rockstar promises more ways to customize your games as well as a better system to find matches online. The game comes out November 18th, 2008!
