This short film from India and our brothers over there makes a point very well.Someone always says men who suffer violence from their wives need to "man up." They never say how. Should he hit her back and be arrested? Should he call the cops...and get arrested because they are told to arrest the biggest strongest member of the household (i.e. the man). Should he take the kids and leave only to watch the family courts give the kids back to her? Should he stay to protect the kids and suffer more abuse?How does the male "man up" when she pours hot fat over him or stabs him with a garden fork or carving knife? ... >>
