サッカーのデビッド・ベッカム選手（３２）が現地時間１３日、米プロリーグ、ＬＡギャラクシーの入団会見に臨み、集まったファン数千人から歓迎を受けた。ベッカム選手は「米国のサッカーは大きく成長する。その時代の一員となることを誇りに思う」と語った。
