The angels give infant Bobbie a truly transcendent singing voice. But to keep it, she must obey three simple, kindhearted rules. As a young woman, she heads to Nashville to build her singing career, but to reach her dreams quickly, she starts breaking the angels' rules one by one. Along the way, though, Bobbie is buoyed by the love of her smalltown crush Dale and the sage advice of her tour headliner, country music legend George Strait. Soon, Bobbie’s hasty choices threaten to rob her of her precious voice. But even without her angelic gift, can she still learn to help others by singing from the heart.
