Obama pounds McCain before 75,000
On the final night of the Democratic National Convention before 75,000 flag waving supporters, Barack Obama launched a sharp assault on Republican presidential rival John McCain. The Illinois Senator made some of the most direct attacks on McCain -- including harsh criticism of McCain's defense of the Iraq war and the pursuit of Osama bin Laden. The televised acceptance speech gave Obama -- the first African-American presidential nominee -- his biggest national audience until he meets McCain in late September in the first of three face-to-face debates. Jon Decker reports from the Democratic National Convention in Denver.
