Now, UPA plans urban employment guarantee scheme
Centre is working on an act, to dissuade distress migration of youth, from small towns to big cities. Plans for a comprehensive policy for guaranteeing employment to urban youth is already underway. The proposed act will be on lines of the Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Act.
