World Music: Nortec Collective present Fussible and Bostich, "Tijuana Sound Machine"
-Download on iTunes-Buy the album(Mexico) In this outing, the Nortec collective of five Tijuana deejays presents a mix by Fussible (Pepe Mogt) and Bostich (Ramon Amezcua). The music is full of their characteristic loops, processed sounds and accordions- (The term "Nortec" is a combination of Norteño and Techno music) but in the video they’ve added a surreal dash of Eurocharm filtered through Saturday Night Fever. If all this sounds like a mighty mix-up to you, then you're right!
