Ein gelöschter Eintrag ist tatsächlich gelöscht, "restlos" – das hat StudiVZ seinen Nutzern jetzt im Rahmen einer Datenschutzkampagne garantiert. Zwar gilt grundsätzlich weiter, dass online Veröffentlichtes nur schwer aus dem Netz zu tilgen ist. Dennoch können sich die Nutzer laut Thilo Weichert vom Unabhängigen Landeszentrum für Datenschutz Schleswig-Holstein (ULD) in Kiel auf diese Ansage von StudiVZ wohl verlassen.
