Public Record Preventing DiscriminationThe Canadian Human Rights Commission held the 2010 Discrimination Prevention Forum from November 23rd to 25th, 2010, in Winnipeg. The theme of this year’s conference was "Circle of Awareness - Cycle of Growth" with a special focus on Aboriginal issues. This plenary session, on November 23rd, included a discussion on removing barriers to the recruitment and advancement of Aboriginal Peoples. The panellists were Nadir Shirazi (Multifacet Diversity Solutions Ltd.), Brenda Young (Southern First Nations Secretariat), Leslie Lounsbury (Spirit of Youth Enterprises, Inc.) and Andrea Canada (Manitoba Hydro).
