TULSA In downtown Tulsas Brady Arts District, artists give folks a chance to watch art come to life at Tulsa Glassblowing Studio (formerly Tulsa Gathering Place). With glassblowing artisans at the studio, the studio lets people watch natural materials be transformed into glass vases, bowls and sculptures. The open studio atmosphere allows the artists to converse with their patrons, and some even offer private lessons in glassblowing. Six-week classes are also available for beginning and intermediate glassblowers. Visit the gallery year round, and take in the excitement of the studio September through May.
