Mit dem Update "Erste Saison" können sich ab sofort die Spieler von League of Legends in organisierten Wettkämpfen miteinander messen und am Ende des Turniers auch noch Preise im Gesamtwert von 100.000 US-Dollar absahnen. Das umfangreiche Update bringt noch weitere neue Features wie einen Auswahlmodus, Ranglistenspiele, Ladder-Ranglisten, ein neues Interface sowie einen nagelneuen Champion, Xin Zhao, den Seneschall von Demacia.
