Four years ago I agreed to support Gumulira, a village of 5000 people here in Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world. Today Gumulira is a very, very different place. The water is much cleaner. It has better sanitation. There are classrooms - tada - that kids can attend. There are community healthcare workers and by teaching the people of this village how to diversify their crops, they have increased their harvests."
