Teaching and Learning in the Global Academic Village
This video concerns teaching methodologies employed in architecture that are designed to get students to see problems from the perspective of people in different social and economic circumstances and to understand how factors such as race and income might affect the way people view the world. This is particularly important to architects who do their work largely disconnected from those who actually live in and use their creations. The class hopes to remedy that and give students some experience in reaching out to a broader segment of society. From the Series:Teaching and Learning in the Global Academic Village
