Iraqi Youth Spot
The Iraqi youth spot 'Yala Shabab, Lets Go Youth' was produced and written in Nov. 2005 in Baghdad by Damien Harvey for the International Republican Institute. The ad was produced to educate youth and infulence candidates to understand youth related issues in Iraq. NOTE: The commercial was produced on green screen and all art design and after-effects were created by my students. SCRIPT: Man: There’s a lot of pressure on Iraqs youth. Woman: Like unemployment. Man: Which candidate has the ideas to create good job opportunities? Woman: Jobs without pressure. Man: Democracy means choosing your candidate without fear and without influence from anyone. Woman: Do you know how long your candidate will stay in his position? Man: 4 Years! Man:You should get to know them before you vote for them! Man: Choose the candidate that cares about our age and our issues. Woman: Participate! Man: The future is in your pen!
