Wildlife artist Mark Coreth has always wanted to sculpt a snow leopard in its own environment. It’s mid-winter, 14,000 foot up in the Himalayas and the cats are proving as elusive as ever. Encouraged by the warmth of the Ladakhi villagers he meets, and with the expert help of the Snow Leopard Conservancy (India), Mark finally achieves his dream.
