Muji: The New Non-Brand
Muji, a Japanese store whose name is derived from the Japanese words for "no brand," is finally opening a store in the United States. The company is famous for its simply designed goods, from clothing to furniture and electronics, all of which are sold without labels or any branding whatsoever. Are Americans finally tired of being inundated with brands and advertising? Or is it just a trend?
