Power station looks to biomass for low-carbon future
Mar 4 - Britain’s biggest coal burning power station envisions a complete switch over to biomass in the future, according to one of its directors. Drax Power, in the north of England, is the country's biggest single emitter of CO2 but is trying to reduce its reliance on fossil fuels by annually increasing its use of low carbon fuel. Stuart McDill reports.
