Los operarios del tunel de San Gotardo, en Suiza han celebrado esta tarde con aplausos, abrazos y fuegos artificiales el funcionamiento de la la tuneladora que acaba de concluir la perforación del boquete del túnel. Es el más largo del mundo, con cincuenta y siete kilómetros de longitud. Ahora quedan las grandes obras para hacerlo transitable y mejorar las comunicaciones entre Italia, Suiza y Alemania.
