Chao Praya village - Bangkok, Thailand
While exploring the riverbanks of the Chao Praya river, Eva and I turned down a very narrow alley, between some street market vendors and found ourselves in an unusual area, with a wall on one side and a tree which was above us and whose roots held up the wall. As we traveled further we notices a shanty town of sorts, tiny one room shacks on either side of this narrow alleyway and we soon realized that these houses were built on a makeshift pier jutting out onto the river, the walkway underneath us cobbled together with pieces of scrap wood and salvaged nails. This clip was taken at the end of the walk through this completely fascinating and unusual neighborhood.
