Think of Paris and you’re likely to think of the Moulin Rouge and its legendary cancan dancers. Places aren’t cheap but all seats were full last night for a special New Year’s Eve show. The glitz, the glamour the scantily-clad Cancan dancers it’s got to be Paris’ Moulin Rouge. A choice venue to welcome in the New Year; all 850 seats sold out way in advance. And, at 570 Euros per person, you want a good show. Many a visitor stops for a photo under the iconic windmill sails. In fact, one in two of the show’s spectators are a tourist.
