Women are Gadhafi’s new force
Rebel forces in Libya are advancing on a strategically important town close to the capital Tripoli. Gharyan, which lies 50 miles to the south, is key because it controls the main highway leading to the capital. If it falls to rebels, there will be just one supply route left in the hands of pro-Gadhafi forces. The Libyan government though warns it will be fiercely defended. ITN’s Bill Neely was taken to the town by government officials, and reports from there. (Nightly News)
