Does Heating Tea Destroy Enzymes
Bianca had a great question about heating tea and if it destroys the enzymes or not. According to his study, tea does contain enzymes and these enzymes are destroyed when tea is heated. But, the tea leaves contain some of the additional properties which won’t be lost due to tea heating. Bianca suggested not heating the tea too much. It is so because sometimes too much of heating won’t allow the tea to release its flavors. The temperature of tea heating should be between 180 degrees to 212 degrees.
