Podium On January 19th, 2011, The Sandbox Project held their inaugural annual conference in Mississauga, Ontario. This event brought together key players to address health issues facing Canadian children and youth, with a special focus in the areas of injury prevention, mental health, healthy weights and the environment. The introduction to the conference was delivered by veteran broadcaster Valerie Pringle. Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Founder of the Sandbox Project, delivered an opening address.
