スペースシャトル「エンデバー」、最後の宇宙旅行終え無事帰還
アメリカのスペースシャトル「エンデバー」が、最後の宇宙飛行を終え、無事帰還した。エンデバーは最後の宇宙飛行で、宇宙空間を観測するための機材を国際宇宙ステーションに搬送し、船外活動も4回行われた。マーク・ケリー船長は「エンデバーを素晴らしい状態で帰還させることができて、うれしく思います。次のミッションに行けそうなほどですが、これが最後のフライトです」と話した。毛利 衛さんら日本人飛行士3人も搭乗したエンデバーは、退役後は、ロサンゼルスにあるカリフォルニア科学センターに展示される。
