Frank Lloyd Wright’s Ennis House
Calling all architecture lovers: Built in 1924, this historic residence in L.A.'s Los Feliz district is one of one of four textile-block homes by master builder Frank Lloyd Wright. Twenty-five thousand blocks of decomposed granite were woven together to form this striking structure, which has been featured in films like "Blade Runner" and the original "House on Haunted Hill." True to Wright’s philosophy, it incorporates nature into its design, from the Japanese garden to the original art glass windows and glass mosaics of plants and flowers.
