Hot Seat: Tokyo Police Club
According to Rolling Stone, Tokyo Police Club is the best “neo-punk post-anti-rock (circa 73) since the Pavement (Matador Records) reissue of Wowee Zowee.” Well, technically we read that on Wikipedia, but…you get the picture. Anyway, Tokyo Police Club is a dangerously good (looking) Canadian four-piece on the verge of an explosion. Their claustrophobic sound is crammed tight with, you guessed it, angular guitar riffs and answering machine vocals that will have you crawling outta your jeans. See what happens to all of their manic energy when we cram them into the Hot Seat for the third degree.
