OK History Center’s Asian Festival, OKC
The Asian Festival is an event put on by the Asia Society of Oklahoma in May of every year. Each year there are booths representing at least 10 different countries at the festival. In 2007, there were over 50 booths participating. Some of the booths are strictly educational, others sell items unique to their country. There is always an assortment of food, native attire, and lots of entertainment! Little Miss Asia, Junior Miss Asia, and Miss Asia also compete and are crowned at the event.
