東本願寺の「すす払い」
宗祖・親鸞の７５０回忌法要を来年に控える東西両本願寺（京都市下京区）で２０日、１年のほこりを払う「すす払い」があった。僧侶や門徒らが竹の棒で畳をたたき、舞い上がるほこりを大きなうちわであおいで外に出した。
