Tornados in Deutschland
Dass es gefährliche Tornados nicht nur im Mittleren Westen der USA gibt, wissen Wetterforscher seit Jahrzehnten. Jedes Jahr werden allein in Deutschland 20 bis 30 Windhosen ? so werden die Tornados bei uns genannt ? gesichtet. In ganz Europa sind es jährlich etwa 700. Einige Forscher befürchten nun, dass die allgemeine Klimaerwärmung auch bei uns zu mehr und heftigeren Tornados führen kann.
